Winter month warmer! This sake whilst excellent cold is especially suited to be warmed and is a great complement to hearty comfort food like oden or spaghetti bolognese.
Made with Yamadanishiki rice grown in Okayama prefecture. Summer strawberries are prominent with the soft smoothness of Yamadanishiki rice with a clean, dry finish. The satisfying and deep flavour when warm makes it a good food sake.
Founded in 1804 by Tsuji family, the brewery is located in the picturesque town of Katsuyama, Maniwa town. Gozenshu brewery is progressive led by Okayama's first female master brewer and hosts to many artists, pottery maker and poets in residence.
